General Comments
We visited Douglas and the Isle of Man during the Manx Grand Prix last year August 08.We booked Four Seasons Hotel through a Travel Company which specialises in holidays on the island and were greatly looking forward to the holiday, but we do feel that the overall condition of the accommodation spoiled our holiday.
This establishment was in our opinion shabby, unkempt and rundown in condition. Our room was quite frankly disgusting with mould on the ceiling and walls. The furniture was falling to pieces and smelled of damp, we did not dare put any clothing in any of the drawers or the wardrobe. The room smelled of damp and old cooking oil, we believe it was situated over the kitchen of the hotel. The towels in the bathroom were musty, the crockery was dirty and chipped.

When we complained about the room etc the owner/manager was most unhelpful and rude.
