General Comments
Castlerigg Hall Caravan And Camping Park was a very friendly site & staff. Camped in the lower area which was lovely although a bit sloping. New toilet block the BEST i have ever seen! Clean as a whistle and spacious shower cubicles with changing area. No plug for straightners but hairdryer available (if you remember to get the vouchers from the shop first!) Well stocked shop and lovely cafe/bistro serving breakfast & evening meal. A good half hour walk into Keswick through lovely woods - very steep in places. Couldnt face the walk back up the very steep hill but a taxi from the main square was only £3.50!!!! A camp where you like site but even when full it was not as cramped as many others get
