Good Points
Its very fast, reliable, tons of leg, boot and overall sound system room, plenty of grunt and power. I would say for a almost 20 year old car, its fairly good on petrol consumption ( unless I have lead foot syndrome! ) Its in fair to good condition, but a new lick of paint could sort it out.The Sierra in my opinion even to this days standards of cars this one could outrun and out do many aspects of build quality, reliability and safety, and there are many modifications to make it quicker.
Bad Points
New & used parts are becoming rarer to find, but its not what you know but who you know!
General Comments
I have owned my 1989 'G' Ford Sierra 2.9i GLS 4x4 hatchback for over two years now. I use it just for taking to local car shows and cruising. Its pretty much standard at the moment, with the seven spoke RS alloys, elec windows and mirrors, central locking, manual sunroof, rubber boot spoiler, front fog lights etc.
I always wanted the 3dr XR4i, but my age and family commitments made this a better option due to 5dr's.
Most of these cars are now Race/Track & Show day cars as handling and perfomance is amazing.
I've nearly always owned a Ford of some description.
