Good Points
If you're a label junkie then you will like the 'Chanel factor' you get from showing your lipstick case off. Unfortunately what's inside may be a let-down for you.
Bad Points
Colour-fade, bad pigment level, not very moisturising, doesn't look or smell expensive. Better off with YSL, MAC, Bobbi Brown or even Clinique.
General Comments
Chanel Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine SPF 15 is surprisingly disappointing from Chanel - and I bought mine from the counter so can't blame it on old stock from any website either :-( Firstly it didn't have a really strong colour to it with regards to pigment, so it felt a bit 'nothing' on the lips; perhaps it was just the shade I chose but I was expecting a bit 'more' really, especially from Chanel. The packaging was a bit of a let-down considering the quality of the likes of Bobbi Brown which I use regularly, which really 'snap' when you close them. This didn't sound as expensive as it cost! The lipstick hardly lasted any time at all & I didn't feel it protected my lips at all from the sun despite the SPF claims. When I reapplied it looked exactly like I HAD reapplied instead of being flawless as I'd hoped. I had to blot & mess around with the application & I'd definitely recommend taking a lipbrush with you if you need to reapply. All in all, really disappointing. I tried to take it back & the assistant wasn't at all helpful either which makes me feel their customer service is lacking as well.
