Puerto Plata, Riu Mambo Review

General Comments
My girlfriend and i have just returned from a wonderful two weeks at the Riu Mambo, Puerto Plata.



My girlfriend is 5 months pregnant so we was a bit sceptical especially after a few people said we were very brave to be going to DR.



But we can honestly not find a single fault with the hotel, food or entertainment.



The hotel is spotlessly clean, with rooms being cleaned daily, and the staff throughout are without doubt the most cheerful that i have ever met!!



Food was great, with plenty of variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and fresh fruit.



The entertainment was great and lively, although we never joined in the activities they were still fun to watch and prepare for plenty of staff dancing and plenty of 'RIU' songs!!! (well one repeated over! lol)



We prefered to stay quiet and just relax around the pool and beach and you are not pestered or pressured to join in anything should you not wish too.



The hotel is situated straight onto the beach which has plenty of sunbeds and activities, canoeing, wind-surfing, scuba, volleyball, football and basketball (And all inclusive, which is great!)



We had a great time and have nothing but great things to say about Riu Mambo and the staff!
