Good Points
Intuitive settings and menu. The Nikon pict. motion slide show is great - it displays your photos on a TV while panning/ and zooming in and out and playing music. This makes your presentation appear more like a video. Nikon software very good.
Bad Points
I can't think of any apart from the music in the pict. motion function - it loops too quickly back to the start, with a slight hiccup/gap before restarting - little bit annoying, but hardly what you could call a serious photographic problem.
General Comments
The Nikon D80 is a fabulous camera in every respect, at least for me it is. Although no longer being made, if you see one at a good price anywhere, especially new, snap it up fast. Best to find the kit with the 18mm-135mm lens which is excellent. Spend a little time getting to know the settings and you will find it very easy and a joy to use. The colours and picture quality are excellent. I have just been travelling around Thailand and PDR Laos with it, and I just couldn't stop shooting - day and night. If you can stretch to the D90 then I suppose that would be better, but at the right price, this camera is a cracking recession beater.
