LG KU990 Viewty Review

Good Points
Easy to use, good size screen, options to text using keypad or qwerty or even handwriting. Vibrate touch screen so you feel when you've pressed keys. The size is a good point for me (not much bigger than K800/K810) but would be a bad point for any one who likes a really small phone.

Bad Points
The name! No lens cover, zoom/ volume wheel round the lens, camera not being quite as good as one would expect for 5 megapixel.

General Comments
I love the LG KU990 Viewty phone! The touch screen was one of the things I was worried about, I thought it would be very much a finger tip thing and I would need both hands to text but it's easy to text with thumbs. I think a lot of the criticisms involve people giving up on it too quickly or faulty handsets but, providing the problem isn't a faulty handset it's about getting the settings to your own taste. I agree with several reviews I read before buying this phone where people said the Sony Ericsson K800i/K810i take better photos despite the 3.2 meg camera as I still have mine and the SE does take better pics. I love the size of the phone, it's not the smallest phone but it's not that big either and personally I hate really small phones. I've had Sony Ericsson phones for years and have always been afraid of change but I am delighted I have taken the chance on the Viewty.
