Good Points
Clearly a good ball as it's tour performance will testify
Bad Points
Not for everyone, and unless you really can generate well over 100mph club head speed go for the plain Pro V1
General Comments
When it comes to golf equipment I am happy to spend money if i get something back. So when a golf ball gets the amount of press that the ProV does, I am going to give it a go. The ProV1 and ProV1X have been around for a while now and the 'X' is the later "version" but in my experience the two aren't directly comparable. Of course it's all personal preference, but I found the 'x' just a bit too hard - i definitely feel more in control with the regular V1 - i think to get the best out of the x1 you need to swing harder than I do - and I have 105mph head speed and play off 8
