Good Points
The staff were very friendly and helpful, not rude abrupt and never rushed me.
Bad Points
The dress is supposedly made to measure, there was no verbal mention of any alternation charges when ordering the dress. It was dropped into conversation when i went to try my dress on.
General Comments
We spent over £2000 in Pronuptia in Doncaster in the mens wear department and my wedding dress and accessories. When my dress was ordered there was no mention to myself and my mum that there would be alteration charges. On my second fitting we were advised of the £65.00 charges and once checking with my mum that we werent advised of the charges on my first fitting. Rang the manager a week before i was due to pick up my dress and asked if they could waiver the alteration charges as a good will gesture or a discount on my shoes and was advised they couldnt. I was advised that there are signs around the shop advising of their alteration charges, which as a bride you don't notice anything except the dresses. Also it is noted on the receipt, which you don't see until after you have paid your deposit. I was offered by the manager that i was within my rights to take my dress somewhere else to get it altered, with a week to go.
