General Comments
The Dansai 852 DVD player works well. This was my first ever DVD player and I was impressed, but had no point of reference. Then I purchased a Haus DVD player from www.jungle.com for £129. The Haus has a better picture and sound quality as well as on board decoder. So the Dansai went back to Tesco. Purchased a Bush surround system from Safeway for £60(includes 5 speakers, and subwoofer with built in amp, a bargain)and I'm very happy.
To Sum up the Dansai is a great machine for the price, but investing an extra £30 gets you an even better bargain.
