Good Points
There are many but what stand out are: Power, economy, reliability, build.

Bad Points
None that stand out. Maybe a little expensive if you get dealer to do the big service but most super bikes are?

General Comments
I posted back in August 08 and continue to praise this BMW K1200RS bike. For an 11 year old machine this Beemer K1200RS has been fantastic in the 11 months and 12000 miles that I have rode in that time.

I use it in all conditions mainly for my (except snow!) 60 mile round trip to work.

The bike now shows 37k and have just serviced again valves were good no adjustment needed, I changed 2 inlet shims that were a little tight back at the 25K service but all ok this time. All of the spark plugs looked in good condition for 12K but changed them anyway. Fuel filter is a bit awkward as you have to drain the tank and take the fuel pump out from under the tank to get to the filter. The manual says to do this at 24K but changed at 37K and to be honest it has made no difference to performance so will probably leave it for another 40K!

I am running K6 Mez tyres which are good high mileage, rear 9.5K and still 2mm centre tread left well worth the £110 and the grip is good to.

These bikes are built for mileage and I Know there are many many (hundreds of) thousands left in this bike yet.

This is the first BMW I have owned and its a keeper.
