Good Points

Bad Points
Totally incompatible with any previous ipod gadgets you've bought: stereospeakers, wall chargers etc and car docking stations. Doesn't switch off properly so battery runs low constantly and you can only charge off a computer. Very inconvenient. Had the Nano 2nd gen 8gb before it was stolen and it was great. The new 4th gen is lousy in comparison.

General Comments
Was really infuriated and disgusted with this Apple iPod nano v2 8GB. I foolishly made the assumption that an upgrade improves a product, not reduces its' functionality. It has limited use with any of my gadgets-it won't charge on my ipod speakers or wall adapter- and because it runs low on battery all the time, it means you have to be close to a computer to reboot. Not great for travel. What I loved about my old Nano was the fact that I could travel anywhere with it and long car journeys were a pleasure with my playlists pulsating from the car. You can imagine my horror when I discovered that the good-looking new 4th gen is incompatible with car docking stations! I'm still reeling with disbelief. Will be flogging it on ebay and going back to the 2nd gen. Sometimes less is definitely more.
