Good Points
Great Tyres - They wear Well and hold on well on the Road.
I have run these tyres hard on the Drag Strip and at Bonneville on the Salt Flats, and have been very happy with their performance. - Fitted to a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-14 ( Modified)
Bad Points
No Bad points other than I wish they produced a triangular shaped "Z" Rated tyre for the Salt Flat Racing to give more "Bite"
General Comments
I have used both the Continetal Road Attack and Race Attack tyres for Both Street / Road use and for Competition - Land Speed racing and Drag Racing and found them to be a very dependable and good wearing tyre which meet the demands placed on them.
They wear well, and when warmed up on the drag strip give good traction.
I found both tyres performed well at High speed when practicing for land speed racing at speeds in excess of 200mph, as well as being a dependable and safe tyre, when at speeds in excess of 180mph with the rear wheel spinning up to 210mph on the slippery salt surface.
I have run Continentals for 2 years at Bonneville on the Salt Flats, and they work well for me on a very demanding surface. Unfortunately with the nature of the salt, it requires "shaping "of the tyres to acheive optimum performance and to attempt to maximise traction.
a "V" Shaped Race Attack Tyre would be the Ultimate!!!
