These are just a few examples of some of the games in each catagory but of course there are plenty of games to choose from.

The games can range in price from £15.00 upto £40. When games are first released they can be quite expensive but if you leave it a few weeks on a month or so this game will no doubt be reduced in price!

***My Nintendo DS***

I bought my Nintendo DS just over 1 year ago from Argos. The only one avaliable was in black so I purchased this one for just over £100.00. I also bought an accessory pack which came with a case, spare stylus, cleaning cloth, screen protectors, ear-phones and game cases to keep my games in when I'm on the move.

I regularly play my nintendo DS game when I am on long train or bus journeys. I haven't ever used the ear-phones, I just turn the volume down on the console.

I have to admit that I don't play my Nintendo a huge amount, only when I am travelling on the train or bus. I am 23 and I find a lack of games for people my age or older.

My mum loves her playing her nintendo DS and she likes to play Crossworkds and Sudoku, but these games don't interest me.

I own a few games including Worms, Scrabble & Spyro. I haven't bought a new game for a while as there hasn't been many out which I have wanted to try.

There seems to be a huge range of children's games such as Pokemon, Barbie, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, etc and only a limited choice for older people.

The games for the nintendo vary and some of these can cost upto £40 each. I always look in the Trade In section in Game as your can normally find the games you want for a cheaper price.

***Using the Nintendo DS***

The nintendo ds is easy use and is very light to hold and can easily fit into a bag or maybe even a pocket. The stylus slips into the back of the console safely so you don't loose the stylus and the games are easy to put into the slot in the back and are simple to remove. Just simply push the game into the slot and push it again when yo are ready to remove it and the game will just pop out.

There is an off/off switch on the side which you just slide to switch on or off, there is also a volume switch as well which also slides to control the volume!

The graphics on the nintendo DS are pretty impressive and are also in 3D as well. The colour of the screen is brilliant and the sound is pretty impressive as well. I think the sound is quite loud when you have it up on the top volume.

Some games require you to use the stylus and the game controls which includes directional buttons and 4 other lettered buttons. There is 2 other buttons on either side of the console on the back which are easy to use, using your finger when holding the console. There are sometimes used in games to change the view/camera angle.

***Recommended?***

This is a great console and gives great entertainment for a few hours. They are great to take when going on long journeys as the battery lif is very long and there's a great range of games to choose from as well.

You can make them more personalised by choosing your favourite colour and getting accessory packs to match as well.

I would recommend this console to anyone as there's games for everyone to play but more so for younger children.
