The Boss91's review of Giorgio Armani Code

“all in all i havnt tried Giorgio Armani Code as a...”

★★☆☆☆

Good Points
comes in a stylish deep violet bottle, has an intriguing scent of tangerine skin and old pine tree forest blending into the one masculine fragrance. hints of mild tobacco can be detected and a deep savoury base gives a twist to this model, as other high end colognes tend to be sugar sweet citrus or synthetic smelling deep refreshment. the tiniest hint of spice is also nice. possibly after all the good points, i spent $100 AUD on this, maybe worth $60.

Bad Points
smell starts off too strong and bitter. the fragrance is unusual, however its more an acquired taste, and therefore the unusualness can have unexpected drawbacks to what you may expect. the smell is light, however when a decent dose is inhaled it is very..deep, with Pine needles being a major part of that savoury smell, but with the bitter kick of tangerine. on the bad notes, you can experience the deep pine and bitter tangerine, but on the good side of this fragrance you can experience the sweet juice of the tangerine and the refreshing breeze through that pine forest. it all depends on your skin chemistry.

General Comments
all in all i havnt tried Giorgio Armani Code as a chick magnet as i have just received it in the mail =). however id recommend this to a man who likes women a little on the wild side, a girl who loves a deep sensational kick of pure men's cologne. yet light enough for her to draw closer to you to actually experience a wild sensation. for men looking for his perfect girl however, sweet, downtown beautiful down to earth girl. Might i suggest Green Irish tweed, Hugo Boss Baldesserini or a simple Gillette ice cool or Arctic wave.
I gave this fragrance 3 out of 10 because quite simply, my skin chemistry doesn't compliment this fragrance as much, as i don't have a savoury self smell to be enhanced by CODE, i have a sweet smell which blends with the savouriness to create a mixed parfum.
