Although she was diagnosed bipolar, she is also diagnosed as BPD. The suggestions about protecting yourself legally were invaluable. My daughter has made claims of "abuse" (yelling) and neglect. She told her teachers I made her babysit her younger brother. I wouldn't have allowed her to walk my dog, at that point, nevermind watch our baby.It described my experience with my daughter to a T. I would, and have recommended this book to other parents /partners of Borderlines. They all felt the same-it describes exactly what we are living with. It truly made me realize what my daughter was going through, too.
