General Comments
Having recently moved back to the west mids after a traumatic time I decided to treat myself to pick me up so booked a colour and cut service.

I was impressed by the surroundings of the salon and although busy the staff seemed to be smoothly handling the customers.

I originally asked for dark slices to be put back in to my hair to hide regrowth in a 3 month old colour however I was persuaded to have highlights. The salon was busy and the colourist started putting the foils in and then stopped to put a colour on another client. As a result I felt that the bleach was left on my hair too long.

Having spoken to the stylist she suggested a graduated bob... a definite no no for my hair so would not let her carry the cut out but merely suggested a tidy up.

Result - seemingly over processed hair and a cut and style that looked dreadful and has made me look like a fifty year old. After 2 weeks the ends are splitting and look like they need cutting again.

One thing I have a learnt is bleach (which drains my colouring) and graduated bob a no no for my hair so I was uneasy that these options were suggested to me.

Unfortunately will now be visiting another salon to have a semi permanent put on my hair to add condition, add warmth and hide the bleached areas.

Overall disappointing.
