Good Points
Maplin Electronics? What part of Maplin is Electronics? all they seem to sell is lots of cheap nasty products at very high prices it's more like a toy shop.

Bad Points
Most of the products I've purchased have been of poor quality and failed quickly and then trying to get a refund proved very difficult for me

General Comments
Maplin Electronics appears to be the only business in these hard times that have NOT passed on the VAT drop instead it seems they have increased there prices by 2.5% to compensate so they don't have to change their price tickets - not very good customer service.
