I have been taking my children to Manchester pantos from the age of 5 & 7 until early teens and now i am taking my grandchildren they are ages 3 5 7 & 13 and i can honestly say i have never seen such a bad pantomime. In every way it was amateur from the waking croc to the uninteresting Peter Pan who did not connect with the audience. I have taken my own children to see Peter Pan in the past and the difference in the two productions was unbelievable. There was not many "actors" in the production i think there were more children from drama classes, i suppose that keeps costs down, what a disappointment.
