Good Points
The only good point is that it exists - otherwise it would be even more difficult to arrive or depart from Paris
Bad Points
You will need to present your boarding pass even before you'd even had the chance to check in and to get your boarding pass.
There are virtually no shops - at least in terminal 2D where I'm sitting while writing this review. And the few are horrendously overpriced.
Signs are pointing to wrong direction or missing completely. Screens where the departures should be shown do not at the moment show anything at all. All of the seem to be blank. During the two hour wait they have already once changed the gate from one end of the terminal to another.
General Comments
Charles de Gaulle airport is extremely confusing. First of all this airport does not follow the logic applied in nearly all other airport around the world (Moscow is another exception). At Terminal 2 the six separate buildings are labeled so that C follows A, D follows B etc. Arrivals and departures are on same level at each terminal which confuses one even more. When you think you're in departures, the signs say arrivals. And you are still in the right place. If you need to change planes, it's best to check your luggage only one leg at a time. i.e. if you leave e.g. from Rome, check your luggage only to CDG. Then collect your luggage and take it yourself to your next flight. Otherwise you may not see you luggage for days. CDG ha left my luggage behind now four times. And I've only changed planes there five time in total! Confusing, dirty, crowded, rude staff - you name it, Charles de Gaulle has it all. In my opinion this is the absolute worst airport in all of Europe, Northern America and Asia-Pacific.
