Binatone Carrera X350 Review

Good Points
Easy to set up, easy to read and quite accurate. Cheap and cheerful from Tesco at £59.95. well made little toughie, looks smart and screams like mad near speed cameras. Very good at tracking current position and giving next navigation point.

Bad Points
Seems to use power quickly. Distance to Motorway junctions are short if travelling at speed. some roundabout exit numbers not quite right. I.e, " take the 3rd exit" and its the 4th you want, especially if a new, small road is in the circuit.

General Comments
I used it recently to navigate to a golf course in the middle of nowhere. It was bang on with its target and I had no idea where it was. The google route which I used as a comparison was a nightmare.

Remember folks, its a cheap navigational aid, not an autopilot.

Its good enough if you use it in conjunction with good driving like planning ahead and reading traffic signs in good time.
