General Comments
I recently applied for a UK credit card. The bank refused my application but suggested that if I sent them bank statements/proof of earnings they would re-consider my application. I was informed that the bank used Experian to check my credit status, and they suggested that I should contact them and check the data that they hold on me.
I supplied Experian with the relevant funds and requested a check. Experian contacted me and asked me for a great deal of information including my addresses for the past six years because they needed to identify me.
It became obvious to me that I was not on their database as they were not in a position to advise the bank. I had to give them my details to allow them to put me on the database.
My new credit card was authorised by the bank as soon as I sent them the information required!

I agree with this review because... the whole system has failed and it seems these agencies feed on it, and most of the time credit checks often decline people with the wrong information and it's a total shambles my advice if anyone want's to do a credit check make sure it's for a House maybe a car. not a stupid mobile phone and other stupid things like computers because you will end up getting declined for something stupid. my opinion the whole credit check system has failed and made people worser off. They should bring back the good old days.
