Good Points
QVC have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. The staff are friendly and helpful. Also, sometimes you can get products the same price or slightly cheaper elsewhere, but if you use the item and find it is no good retailers will not take them back unless they are technically faulty. QVC allow you to try them out and will take them back even if they are 'used'. I would rather lose postage and packing than spend many pounds on a product which is no good and I am then stuck with.
Bad Points
Postage and packing is a bone of contention, but having looked on some of the other channels QVC's p and p charges are actually cheaper if you are buying just one item. What annoys me is that if, for example, they do a ring in three colours and you want all three, even though the item number is the same you have to pay 3 p and p charges.
General Comments
QVC is like anywhere else, there are good products and some not so good, but I have been shopping with them for 15 years now and will continue to do so because their customer service is so good and I know if I have a problem they will sort it. As for refunds, in my experience, they refund quicker than any other shopping channel and they don't take the money till they ship the goods, unlike others I could mention!
I also once had a letter stating that I had returned a large number of items but I saw this as a positive step. It was costing me a fortune in post and packing and I now think more carefully before ordering and this has saved me a fortune.
