chinny's review of Toy Machine Austin Stephens Turtle deck

“Overall this deck is very strong and holds off...”

Good Points
F-Lam construction made this deck real strong and saved board breakage on many occasions! Due to the natural 'woven' surface of the fibre layer on the bottem of the deck, this resulted in longer / smoother slides... even on the most gnarled out ledges!
Like all the other Toy Machines I've had I loved the shape of this deck too.

Bad Points
Chips fairly easily, but then again most boards tend to. After a month or so the fibre layer started to wear of the tail and nose in chunks which lead to a slightly deformed looking deck.

General Comments
Overall this deck is very strong and holds off amazingly well if you land quite not bolts etc. It slides like a dream on rails, ledges, becnhes whatever... but the main downside being the fibre not holding itsoriginial state for aslogn as it could do.

If, like me, most your boards last a couple of months max, and you've got £45 spare I would reccomend this deck to any keen / fun loving skater :-)

Go on, get out there and skate!
