When In Rome!

When it comes to Italy, there is nowhere better to be then Rome, and when in Rome you must do as the Romans do! That means sit out in the gorgeous sunshine, eat al fresco and ride a scooter through cobbled streets. Of course, if you’re there with your school then you probably won’t get the chance to do these things. However, you will get to do plenty of other fantastic things.

Like what? Like this.

Find out what it was like to be a gladiator at the world famous Colosseum where Emperors Julius Caesar and Augustus once decided who would live or die, and who would go free. You can also be fully submerged into Rome as it was when the Empire was at its strongest with an impressive 3D simulator experience (you might be glad you live in the Noughties with wi-fi and ice cream). Of course, it’s called gelato there…

You can check out Raphaelite artworks or throw a lucky coin into the Trevi Fountain. Visit the Sistine Chapel where Michaelangelo painted what is possibly the most famous ceiling in the world, and enter the Vatican City where the most influential man in Italy lives! (At least when it comes to religion, the Pope does not govern all). You can also check out the Pantheon, the Catacombs and St Peters Basilica, all of which are must-see monuments when on school trips to Italy.

This is the ideal place for language students, history students, classics students, art students and religious studies students. There is quite literally something for everyone here, and maybe when you’re older, you’ll get to ride the scooter!

Ville.

All In All Tours Unlimited Organised Excellent Acc

All in all Tours Unlimited organised excellent accommodation in all the places I stayed at (except for Cuenca). About the trips and tours; I got really good advices and the guides seemed to know alot of what to do here and there. Never a dull or a too touristic feeling. Amazon was great and Haciendas too... I really recommend a Amazon trips in Ecuador including some cultural tours and staying in haciendas for a while!!!
