“If you are in any doubt that Dyson DC07 with Cyclone...”

Good Points
Light powerful and easy to manoeuvre, large dust bag, beater bar brushes carpet and removes new carpet knapp. very good with pet hairs removal from carpet (cat especially) easy top use, on board brush tool extension tube and crevice nozzle, very cheap and great value at £59 (argos uk july 08) also its got 250 of those air suction measurements called air watts so thats only 10 less than a dyson dc07 at £149 with a supposed £80 off (argos currys comet etc) anyway my main point is this *** for £59 quid this is an amazing quality fab vac that does the job superb - just go and buy one and stop faffing about thinking you need a bag less or a cyclone or a hepa filter etc *** this one works great for a fraction of the price go and buy one !!!! now !!!! ha ha ... now see my comments about running costs...

Bad Points
On board hose could be a little longer, stupid place to put the on off switch as you keep knocking it OFF when using tools around skirting etc. minor points = loss of 1 point otherwise 10/10

General Comments
If you are in any doubt that Dyson DC07 with Cyclone V8 is a box of soggy pants then Google Dyson DC07 overheating problems... it soon becomes apparent that you have to decoke this wonderful vac every time you want use it ... and its 260 air watts are somewhat reduced by blocked filers etc which need cleaning all too often so don't buy into the bagless hype.

Right once you have this bag based vac then go to ebay and buy your double filtration bags (two layers of paper - a bag within a bag, actually) you can get 20 for £6.99, rather than 5 for the same money at your friendly Panasonic stockist... once you have these go to a local vac spares shop or market stall (in shops etc) and find a vac man - and get a vacuum bag sealing clip ... right now instead of throwing your full bag away each time just cut off the bottom with a pair of scissors , empty the bag and fold the bottom inch over 3 times and slide the clip on to seal it , now you can use lightly soiled and less dusty bags a few times saving you even more money on bag costs. so lets see ... say you use a bag 3 times on average thats
20 bags for £5.99 = 30p a bag = used 3 times = 10p a go ... pennies people , pennies.... just be sensible and keep all the other filers clean, and throw any heavily soiled or dusty bags so as not to overdo the motor or reduce suction... anyhow ... happy bag based bargain vacuuming.
