Grand Hotel Bali Review

Good Points
Hotel very spacious, clean and well managed. Loved the location - would have hated to have been in the centre of Benidorm although did enjoy walking along the levante promenade which was really lovely. Travelled as a family with 2 boys.

Bad Points
Hotel entertainment all Spanish and very repetitive therefore went out the hotel every night. Would have been nice to sit in the hotel some evenings if the entertainment had been better. Typical Spanish hotel food and was getting a bit boring by the second week which we always find in hotels in Spain. Served chips for breakfast which seemed a bit weird!

General Comments
Would stay in the Bali Hotel again if I visited Benidorm in the future. Rooms were spacious - bathroom great. Hotel staff very friendly. Pool area was lovely - having 2 boys there could have been more variety in the kids entertainment but they seemed quite happy. Games Room great.


Loved the location - bus outside hotel took you straight to the Old Town and New Town approx every 15 mins. Found a lovely beach area La Cala Finestrat - just 15 mins walk down the hill from the hotel - beautiful area with about 12 bars - quiet but with a buzz about it - kids played football on the beach - glad we found this area and went down regularly and sat in Molly Malones Irish Bar. Visited Terra Mitica Theme Park - having been to Portaventura in Salou it is not just as pretty but rides were just as good and no queues - don't know if we were just lucky - definitely worth a visit. Also went to waterpark Aqualandia - went back for second day and loved it - if you have small children they have to be 1.25 metres to get on almost all the rides so not very good for small children although there is a kiddies area. You can have any kind of holiday you want in Benidorm - there is something for everybody. Returned July 2008.
