Good Points
A good first laptop, has everything you need if you're getting started or don't play games that need powerful graphics cards. As a general system for office work, surfing, etc. it does just fine. It has a large keyboard that let's you type with ease and a good sized screen to work off.
Bad Points
If you're used to the likes of Dell systems for example you'll find this Acer seems is huge, easily a 3rd bigger than a dell. If you like sitting on the train working during the commute you'll find you've no room! The screen is also very shiny and direct light will have you straining your eyes.
General Comments
Overall I like this system as it has a balance of what I need. A largish keyboard and screen. Dual partition drives of 32GB so I can have one for work and the other for study, thereby giving me one laptop for two things.
I regularly use it for listening to music, creating podcasts, presentations, newsletters and other documents with no problem.
My system has Win Vista Basic, 1GB DDR2 RAM, Intel Celeron 1.73GB and a 15'' screen.
