Volkswagen Passat 1.9 S TDI Review

Good Points
I've been the custodian of a 1.9 TDi S for 15 months now and can't wait to get rid of it. Good point ? Turning Circle.

Bad Points
Cheap interior, uncomfortable seats, poor visibilty, noisey engine,no centre armrest! unbelievable. Ludicrous door bins you need a three way swivelling wrist to retreive items, poor spec for class of car even at entry level fails in comparison againts other makes ie Renault, Mazda, Peugeot etc.

General Comments
The VW Passat 1.9 TDi is the most dissapointing car ever. I have covered 65000 since September 06 and have never warmed to this unpleasant noisey and uncomfortable car. I want my old Laguna back.

What other car manufacturer doesnt fit speakers in the back of this type of car?

Endless recalls to the garage for defects to be put right - the latest is a rumbling fuel pump.

As for that ridiculous handbrake button ! Why isn't it near where the hand brake should be?
