Good Points
Image stabilisation, built into the camera not the lens so saves on upgraded lenses. Comfortable, great features, good value too. Dust clearing system. Stock lenses give good pictures although you can upgrade lenses to get even better ones. 4/3 system will mean that others who adopt the standard will have interchangeable lenses. Will hold both XD and CF cards together and both are usable. Olympus XD cards can be used for panorama shots. This is the European Consumer camera of the year.. so it's got to be good deal. EV bracketing feature works well.
Bad Points
Haven't really come across any yet. As with all digital SLRs when going from a regular camera, it takes a little while to get to grips with all the options.
General Comments
The Olympus E510 review - I have always loved Olympus equipment. They do some great lenses when you want to upgrade, and this is the first "open" system to emerge. They have always brought in new technology and have several firsts in this camera. Good value for money, great potential to see the camera system grow..
