Good Points
This is a large 'Wild West' themed water park across the road from Aqualand and Marineland Magaluf. It is clean, supervised and diverse, and there is plenty there for all ages, even small and non swimming children. There are lifts to get prams and wheelchairs around most levels. Also, there are other diversions besides getting wet, such as stunt shows and sea lion show.

Bad Points
Can't think of a great deal. I think it would be helpful to have age or height guides at the bottom of some of the rides. I saw some small children coming down the megaslide tyre ride crying and frightened. Personally I sent my Husband to test rides for child suitability.

General Comments
We went to this park early in the season. Before we left on holiday I had cheked out other peoples reviews of Majorca water parks and Aqualand didn't fare well, but Western Park had good write ups. I checked the website (oddly, both are owned by Aspro) to try to guess which of them would be worth visiting with small children, and sure enough we had a great day. There was almost no queing on arrival, and as soon as we got in the door, my Son had his picture taken by friendly staff. Of course, these pictures are for sale afterwards, but there is no further hard sell of these pictures, either you look for them on display on the way out, or you walk on by. Changing rooms are open, so if you are self concious that will bother you, however, they were clean, as were all toilets and showers I encountered. There is then locker hire for 7 Euros, 2 of which is a deposit. At the time of my visit, they were giving away bags which retailed in the shop for 3 Euros if you hired a locker. Sun loungers are also extra at 3.50 Euros each, (free Baseball hat with these) which I was surprised at, but I have since got used to the Balearic custom of sun lounger and parasol charges as it does seem to curtail the tourist practice of bagging sun loungers for the day with a strategically placed towel! I did not hire a lounger, and I was unable to tell whether an occupied lounger had been hired or not, so I don't know how Western Park staff police it.

Since I had small children, I didn't go on most of the big rides, but the children had a full day and we visited the mini park, the wave pool, the Daky park and the crocodile river and watched the seal lion show. We easily filled the day and bear in mind that we didn't do the large tube rides and sadly managed to miss the Oliver stunt show. At lunch time, since we were staying at an all inclusive hotel, we had ordered a pack lunch, and we were quite able to sit in the shade at a picnic table and eat it. There were staff taking pictures with an Owl, and they were polite enough to wait for us to finish eating before trying to bag photos of us with the Owl. There were plenty of places to buy snacks and meals and ice creams in the park, and large areas of grass with loungers set aside.

I will definitely revisit this park, and since the children will be older, it will likely be a different experience - the scariest looking ride featured a vertical 30m drop in an open tubular slide!
