Good Points
Very little.
Bad Points
Poor wireless reception, slow speed, takes BT 2 weeks to get anything done, charged us for line activation despite the engineer telling us he did nothing.
General Comments
BT offered us a free wireless home hub with their broadband deals. I reckon we were ripped off. It has an chronically weak signal. It is approximately 10 feet from the hub to my laptop and the signal is either "very low" or "unavailable". Usually it will allow you access at first, until you want to download something. It is the guaranteed to download 90% of whatever you are downloading and will then lose connection so you have to start again. I guess even a child's walkie talkie has more transmitting power than the BT wireless home hub!
The neighbour's Sky connection is always available in my living room, and even with the computer right against the hub, the Sky connection is still stronger.
It is my opinion that wireless is the connection of satan, and I'm going to purchase a long ethernet cable and to hell with wireless. Wireless is one of those irritating IT nerdy ideas that might be a good idea on paper but doesn't work properly, is more expensive and time consuming to put right. The simple solution is often the most effective.

Wireless is actually OK. I understand your frustrations, but perhaps just get a good broadband provider and fit your own modem, I got mine for under £35 and it's great.
