General Comments
I bought a brand news SL45 in Australia, I took it home and eager to test the quality of the MP3 player..it turned out to be faulty, the PLAY button is pressed, I get a distorted noise, the next day I rang Siemens 1800 numbers and waited for 40 minutes to get the customer service.

After describing the problem, I was denied and claimed that the fault was from the recording of the MP3 songs, nothing to do with the SL45 MP3 player even though I expalined that the song that came with the phone were believed to be recorded by Siemens (Be Inspired, Fire).

Not satisfy with the SL45 MP3 player, I went back to the shop and was told that it has be replaced by Siemens not by the reseller. Luckily Telstra customer service who sold me the phone helped me to call and to confirm the fault.

Again Siemens denied the fault, but was wiling to FIX not replace the phone. According to the Warranty card, the phone purchased less than 5 days will be replaced by a new one.

One week has passed, Siemens finally agreed to replace the phone. When I received the replacement few days later, it turned out to be a second hand SL45. Not happy about the phone which I bought brand new and to be replaced by a scrathy second hand SL45, I return it back to Siemens.

Second week has passed, again I contacted Siemens, but this time I was hung up by the Siemens Customer service in the middle of the conversations without any respect.

I called Telstra customer service and the she called Siemens and confirm that replacement should be brand new, this time they agreed and will send a new phone.

2 days later the phone arrived. Not with a brand new untempered box that I expected, but it has been opened and replaced. I am not fully 100% satisfy but having to spend hours on the phone and weeks of waiting time, I agreed and accepted the replacement phone.

Siemens Ltd has been widely known and reputable company worldwide, hoever one thing that strikes me was, how dare they replace a second hand SL45 with my brand new SL45.

If you happens to live in Australia and own SL45, get ready for the headache dealing with them....

I rate Siemens Customer Service as BAD MANAGEMENT.
