Good Points
Good sound quality when it worked, ideal for what I wanted.

Bad Points
Sound stopped working for the CD/DVD player although picture was unaffected.

General Comments
At around £900 when I bought the Sony DAV-S800, I expected more of a Sony product. Over the years I have had several TVs and music centres for various rooms and have not been as disappointed with them as I have with this. That said, on the music centre I purchased about 10 years ago, 1 of the speakers failed after about 5 years which perhaps surprisingly led me to buy this unit which is now effectively a piece of contemporary furniture and little else.
