Bad Points
Too cloistered; why are all relationships between staff? compare Casualty; Abs family funeral; Alice finds a decent bloke outside. After Maria helped Chrissie to bring down casanova Sam with the "Monica" trick, it's crazy that she suddenly comes onto him. Can't they find her a good bloke like Alice's?

General Comments
Holby City is a good drama series, we're always hanging on for the next episode, even if it's "No, silly girl, can't they get her out of this mess?". Medical practice looks authentic. Plenty of medical emergencies squeezed in between the love life.
