Praia da Rocha, Jupiter Hotel Review

Good Points
Ideal location in centre of resort, beach across the road and down a slope.
Entrance and reception clean and impressive with marble floors and decorative walls.
Polite and friendly helpful staff, room cleaned & fresh linen every day.

Bad Points
Walked into allocated room, looked around and walked back to reception to change room. Room was small, very cold, getting no sun at all, overlooking rear car park with no balcony, basically furnished and off-white walls had dirty marks all over. Quite dissappointed and not what I would call 4 star accommodation.
Changed room at a cost but was worth it onto front.
Restaurant was nicely laid out and buffet breakfast was good but evening meal was a choice of 2 or 3 dishes off a set menu and although food was nice it certainly lacked in quantity. Alternative of Omelette was served with burger king style fries and nothing else, quite disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

General Comments
Resort was very quiet although it was school half term, nice clean area with excellent beach.

On the whole I was a little disappointed in the Jupiter as a 4 star hotel, have stayed in nicer 3 star hotels, restaurant certainly let it down and seemed to have a take it or leave it attitude, well personally I'd rather leave it and won't be back.
