Fine when you pay for it, just don't make a claim cos we didn't get anything.
General Comments
We had to cancel our holiday two days before we were due to go to Turkey July 2007, due to my husband being rushed into hospital, where one of the male nurses told us if we had gone away he would have lost his leg due to a severe infection. They were very sympathetic and said that they would send the paperwork on for us to fill in.
Since then we have had nothing but a roundabout.
After many forms and phone calls, we finally seemed to be getting somewhere after we spoke to a woman in December 2007 who said that we were in the final stages, and the next call we would get would be to let us know when the cheque was being released so that we could be there to sign for it.
You can imagine our anger when we received a phone call today to inform us that we had still got to get our GP to write to them, even though he wasn't really involved as it was the hospital dealing with the case. So it seems we are still getting nowhere as far as getting our claim sorted.
I wish we had read the other problems on this site before we took their insurance out.
WE WILL NEVER USE TESCOS INSURANCE AGAIN, neither will any of our friends or family as they are all aware of the problems we have had.
