Good Points
The NSECT is quite a unique toy: fearsome, futuristic, impressive-looking. A lot of technology obviously went into it's design.

Bad Points
The darts on our NSECT will not fire. Many web postings indicate the darts will not fire. Contrary to some postings which state the darts are to blame, we found another underlying reason. The cannon's air compressor mechanism breaks easily and is virtually impossible to repair. The pictures are worth a thousand words.

General Comments
If Mattel has not resolved the defect we identified with our rocket cannon by replacing the air compressor mechanism with a more durable one, the purchase of this toy is definitely not recommended. This would otherwise be a pretty neat toy.
