Epson Stylus C80 Review

Good Points
Seperate color ink cartridges. Good Speed. Allows for 2 sided printing. Prints bidirectionaly, and is fast with a good quality print

Bad Points
It doesn't hold up to standards. Ink printhead develops leaks, and splatters ink throughout the inside of the printer. Breaks down just after warantee runs out, with repair centers very scarce, making it not worth the effort to fix. Printhead jams, and doesn't return to the "home" position.

General Comments
The Epson Stylus C80 Inkjet printer works well especially on photos, but when it fails, it does so in a big way! Downloading updated drivers is a problem. You end up with an "Epson Series" and more than you need. It also creates another printer icon when you download drivers, and goes haywire if you try to delete it. Just before breakdown of printhead movement, it spews paper all over the place without stop until the last sheet is gone. It continues to spew ink as it is doing a print job.
