stuartwild's review of The Glass House, Sidbury, Worcester

“A good restaurant with good food and good service....”

★★★★☆

Good Points
The food is good and varied. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
You can have Tapas and a glass (or bottle) of wine or a meal.
Breakfast on Sunday is excellent and reasonable value. The Free Tapas on Friday evening is a good idea and great for relaxing after a week at work.

Bad Points
Although the Tapas are good the Tapas menu is a bit limited and not really Spanish.
The restaurant gained itself a bad reputation when it first opened; I suspect mainly due to the inexperience of the staff and the number of people who decided to try it out.
I found the service to be excellent but I have never been on a Friday or Saturday evening. I have been told that those evenings are better now.

General Comments
A good restaurant with good food and good service. Perhaps a little overpriced, particularly on the wine list. The house wine is good and you don't need a mortgage to buy a couple of bottles.
