Good Points
Exceptionally well written; fascinating; classy; different.
Bad Points
Although of interest to some, does devote pages on non-motoring items, such as classy watches, clothing, accessories etc.
General Comments
There has been over 50 issues of Octane produced, and from the outset it set a very high standard indeed. Good columnists and the ability to unearth the unusual and rare cars, not to mention drivers with an interesting history and personality. Also great at finding people who have a story to tell of their involvement in a particular car or manufacturer.
It's not cheap by the time it gets to NZ, (its a UK magazine) but of all the magazines I buy, this would probably be the last one I'd dump if I fell on hard times.
Great photographs (of course) and always something to excite the enthusiast in a way that other magazines just don't quite manage.
