Good Points
Light weight and very easy to use. Full carbon construction with a decent thickness of carbon fibre. Fuji Rod rings. Sits well on the rod rest without vibrating even in a strong breeze but picks up the faintest bites.

General Comments
The Shakespeare Salt Beach Rod is such superb value for the RRP but I obtained one at a discount so I was doubly pleased. Equivalent rods from some other producers can be twice as costly. This rod enables me to cast well over 100 metres with ease. I have now owned and used it for around three months. I wish that they made a three piece version for ease of transport.
