SIAS or SotG Incorporation Advertising System is responsible for delivering ads from businesses to servers. Because the business originates from a gaming community itself, its links are absolute and knows how to communicate to any clan.

The business works on two systems, pay per ad (PPA) and pay per commission (PPC), not to be confused with pay per click.

Initially to businesses PPC seems like the preferential system as businesses only pay commission when it applies. However, this is not superior to PPA, as any server that uses PPA is only allowed to use one company per ad period. Whereas PPC servers are allowed to take up into at least 4 companies. PPC ads are therefore shorter than PPA. Clans wishing to join PPA are inspected before hand (we were) to make sure they are dedicated to delivering. It is believed SIAS take this step to ensure maximum opportunity that ads lead to sales by choosing clans carefully.

Though I'm no business owner, there are clear advantages as people in the servers do ask about the ads and we respond accordingly, as at the end of the day we want the business to do well so there more PPA for us in future. Though I'm not certain whether they'd make increased sales I'm definite they get increased traffic and get more known by people of all ages! I've even found myself using the sites we've advertised haha.

On the downside for a clan, it may take you a week or so before you receive ads mainly because SIAS still fairly new.

For businesses I guess its uncertainty in trusting in a new system, but because it's new it gets a lot of attention on our game server and I'm quite assured others too.
