Die Hard 4.0 is an extremely entertaining film.

I have seen the other Die Hard films countless times and this was easily as entertaining as any of them, and I sat through the entire film without losing interest for a moment. There are loads of mouthwatering stunts and action scenes, the plot is deep and very much believable and overall it is just a quality film.

One bad point is that there are loads of totally unrealistic moments. At one point a fighter plane is sent to kill Willis and this jet plane is just racing along the underside of a motorway bridge! You just think 'yeah right'. Also, there is this woman who knows karate or whatever, and John Mclane just kicks the living daylight out of her, and five minutes later she gets up without a scratch! She then jumps onto Mclanes car and he smashes into a brick wall at like 60mph, and survives without any pulvarised limbs or broken bones!!! It is so ridiculous it prompted loads of unbelieving exclamations in the cinema.

However, this film is still totally enjoyable and entertaining and I would recommend seeing it in the cinema, as well as getting the dvd when it comes out.
