Best Ever
I have been riding at BBF for seven years now and all the horses are well cared for, loved. The team at BBf is very welcoming and kind. I have ridden all 16 horses and have helped out many times and have throughly enjoy myself. There are ponies for beginners and sometimes experienced, for a laugh, and there are horses big and small for experienced and intermediate. I can assure you that every horse is loved, fed, looked after and they are allowed to work only for a certain amount of hours per week. Although the yard floods occasionally there is a pump that soaks up all the water. The horses stables look old but they are very warm. If a horse falls ill the vet is called immediately and that get the best treatment known to man. The owner, who's name I will not say, loves all her horses old and young and she will have a chat with you if you have any concerns or problems at a moment notice. All the horses tack fits them and we are not a dirty or run down yard. I can assure you that all of the instructors know what they are doing and that the ridding school is a ridding school and not a livery yard where people on a livery yard are generally dressage instructors. We have a paddock for cross country practice and have two large sand schools. We have horses for hacking, jumping, dressage work and all rounders. Broadbridge Farm is a very good yard and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fun And Friendly But Dirty And Unsafe
Have ridden at this yard several times. The people are friendly and kids enjoy the atmosphere there.
However, the horse's droppings are rarely cleaned up. There is an enormous flooded area in the middle of the stable yard where flies breed by the thousands and it's overall very unhygienic for both the animals and the customers.
The horses could be cared for better and are all pretty much on their last legs and worked to death at the weekends and during holidays, though they seem well fed, they don't seem happy.
It's a dirty environment for animals and people alike.
The standard of teaching is low as there are no qualified teachers. The horses tack don't fit them either, so there is a lot of discomfort for the animals.
I don't recommend this riding school.
U need to bulding up star rating number3
I must also strongly disagree with the above comment submitted on 08/08/2012.
I have been riding at Broadbridge Farm riding school for 7 years and my little girl has also just joined the riding school. I have NEVER found such a lovely place to ride in 20 years of dealing with riding schools!
The instructors are fantastic, any questions relating to their qualifications should be directed to the owner who is more than happy to discuss them. (She will also go the extra mile and ensure each rider has the most appropriate person for their riding ability and personality).
In regards to the poo on the yard I can not say I have ever found the yard to be dirty or unsafe! In fairness if you compare it to other establishments I have ridden at I would say it is incredibly clean and in an amazing setting!
Lastly in regards to the horses, they are the most under worked bunch of riding school horses I have ever met! They are extremely well fed and kept. The love each animal is given by (name removed) and the staff is second to none and some may be old but that is due to the fact they have a home for life at Broadbridge Farm which not many other establishments can claim!
All that being said I would just like to reiterate I feel this review is unfair and not a true representation of what a lovely, friendly and welcoming place this is to ride!
Have got to disagree with this post, i ride at Broadbridge farm and it is excellent! The instructors are great and are qualified! The yard is regularly cleaned throughout the day and i have never seen horse poo just sitting around, in my experience it is cleaned up straight away. The horses are not worked to death, if they have worked hard in the morning then they rest up.
I highly recommend broadbridge farm riding school. I have been riding here since April

I Started Riding At Broadbridge Farm Three Years A
I started riding at Broadbridge Farm three years ago and it is simply the best riding school I have ever been to! The people are friendly and always make me feel welcome. I was an extremely nervous rider before going to Broadbridge Farm and they have given me my confidence. The safety standards and quality of teaching are second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending the riding school to anyone.
