Paid £25 For A Three Course Meal For A Chris

Paid £25 for a three course meal for a Christmas work party. The room was like a long corridor so tables were laid out in a line, the bar served only lager off the pump and all other drinks were sold in bottles. The cheapest house wine was £26. The starter took a long time to come and after a half hour wait the main course came consisting of dry turkey, a spoonful of runny gravy on a dry stuffing cake. The veg was nice but was not enough to go round. The desert was a chocolate torte which had the consistency of dry mud. It was flanked by a raspberry sorbet so there not much moisture to soften the dryness of the torte. The meal was not finished by an inclusive tea or coffee. The bar bills were extortionate. The food was awful and the course were kept on hold so more drinks could be sold. A waste of money to go there!
