I bought my 32PW6515/05 on the web in June 2002, since when we've been very happy until last month when a fault developed. Now, some time after being switched on the screen will go completely bright red with oscillating lines. Recorded output to video tape is OK, so it is just the screen. On looking up the purchase date I discovered it had just gone out of guarantee. I am dreading the repair cost. Grrr.

Bought my Philips 32PW6515 end of 2001 and paid over £900, up until 5 weeks ago no problems. Now telly has an intermitent fault-a green flickering on the screen and then total green screen, until it switches itself off. It also has a white line on the green screen. My local repairman says it is a common problem with Philips TV's, it's the green cathode on the CRT and to get one from Philips. I have spoken to them on the phone and they have told me to put it all in writing and now am waiting to hear from them. Personally, I thought I would spend a bit more money on an excellent brand, but now would never recommend. Has anyone else had these sort of problems or heard of this with these televisions, thanks.
