TheReviewerGuy's review of Virtual World Direct e-Lottery - www.lottolove.co.uk

Good Points
Well, I found e-Lottery to be quite a good and unique way of playing the lottery as part of a syndicate. The lotteries in question are the UK National Lottery and the Euromillions Lottery - both big jackpot lotteries. Virtual World Direct e-Lottery promises to maximise your jackpot luck by improving your chances of winning the latter two lotteries. You can also get to play for free if you sign up as an affiliate and recruit new members.

I looked at the math of how they can achieve this and it seems to add up to me - cannot explain it here, you have to visit the website and see for yourself. That may be a subject of another review altogether.

Being a lottery player myself, I can appreciate the value of playing for free every week and increasing your chances of scooping the jackpot - I am just not sure whether I want to split the winnings with others. I can be quite selfish at times.

But in saying that, I did not see anything wrong with it at all. The website is pretty professional and impressive. You can even get the chance to win £1,000 for free.

It costs £5.00 per week per lottery - but you do get better chances of winning. Even better you can play for free if you refer others to join - that is if you can be bothered.

So I will probably give a go and play for a few weeks on the Euro Lotto just to see if I am lucky.

Bad Points
Well, I noticed that you do not get to choose the numbers yourself for your £5 a week. You are automatically allocated some, but also remember that you can choose your own numbers by choosing the 'grab a grand' option, that gives you one free try to win £1,000. You do not have to be a member to use this facility.

It is all lottery at the end of the day, and what if your numbers never match? Some of your numbers probably will with VWD e-Lottery + the bonus ball number in the UK Lotto and Lucky star numbers in the Euromillions Lotto are guaranteed. But what if your main numbers never match?

I could argue that it is okay if you are playing for free by referring your friends etc, but if you decide to subscribe for let us say two years, as probably most lottery players would, you have to be prepared to spend £5 every week for two years.

Can you afford it?

If you are not playing for free?

Personally, I can as is this a small amount for me, but I cannot speak for everyone. So be careful before you spend your money, make sure that you can afford it.

General Comments
In hindsight, Virtual World Direct claims to have been around for five years running and members of the Lotteries council. I checked and both facts were correct. That's a tick in my book.

Another good thing is that you can play from any country in the world as long as you do not have laws against online gambling. This would be a good thing for most people wanting to play the Euromillions as it is a huge jackpot, and cannot play it in their country of residence.

The other good thing is that both lotteries are tax-free, so if you win, you keep 100% of the winnings. It is also online and you can avoid going to the shops like I do.

In general, I would give it 8/10 as it's good if you love the lotto like myself. I'll probably be joining for a few weeks just to see how it goes. I cannot vouch for the business side of it as I am not an e-Lottery affiliate member and can only comment on the website and how I viewed it. It's probably worth a shot, but I don't know If I am brave enough as a business person, I think I will stick to with my cooking!
