Bought This After Passing My Cbt. Got It On Ebay

Bought this after passing my CBT. Got it on ebay for £342 with a years MOT and 10months Tax.

I picked it up 38 miles away and the drive back was great and I averaged around 60mph as it was all main A road (A303).

Have since used it for commuting to work (30mile round trip) and I've averaged around 90 - 100mpg I think (filled it up with £6 when I collected it then filled it up with another £6 a week later after 120miles).

I changed the oil when I got the bike as it was quite dirty and I thought I had trouble with gear changes...turned out that it was me not lifting my foot clearly on the gear change - if you find yourself doing this, I was told to put my foot back on to the foot peg between changes and this solved my problem).

I also checked the chain. Mine was a little loose so thought I'd tighten it - easy enough to check chain, 2 bolts and the top of the chain guard is removed.

My bike seemed to be well off centre though and one of the chain adujsters was bent (subsequently snapped when I got my hands on it!) - order some new ones off ebay for just over £5 delivered (they were from a Yamasaki CG 125 which is basically another Honda CG replica).

Handling is good but the brakes are not brilliant (drums back and front) but this isn't really a problem and it does stop the bike, just not as well as discs (but then it's not a sports bike!).

I'm 6'3" and weigh 19st and I found the ride very comfortable - I do look VERY big on the bike but it's comfortable, reliable and VERY cheap to run!
