We Found This Lyddington B&b When We Were Looking
We found this Lyddington B&B when we were looking to book a hotel for the Burghley Horse Trials weekend.
Everywhere was totally booked up, but one of the hotels recommended this little B&B.
Its family run - only has 8 rooms and is set in a lovely location.
The breakfast is a just a cold continental breakfast that they leave in your room (quite a nice way of doing it) - but its really nice.
The rooms are lovely - very old and quaint - and the people that run it are fantastic.
Its very hard to fault it actually - price was also very competitive.
If you're looking for somewhere with loads of facilities (restaurant, wifi, gym, pool etc etc) then this definitely is NOT for you - but if you're looking for a lovely homely environment to stay then its a winner in my opinion
